What's your story?

I wasn't originally put on this planet to do bus or train spotting.

Since the age of 5, I had been obsessed with computers, so much so that my primary school gave me a laptop to work with in class. It was around this time I was also taking IT classes, which included simple stuff, such as educational games, Microsoft Office, 2simple Purplemash, simple stuff I could easily work around.

In April 2016, I had been diagnosed with pneumonia and was bed-riddled at Darent Valley Hospital for about 3 weeks. During that time, all I did was play on my Nintendo DSi that I had gotten about a year prior. After that 3 week period, I came out of that bed, still as a massive computer nerd.

My love for buses developed when I was 7, when me and my family would travel up to Bluewater Shopping Centre for mine and my brother's birthdays. My favourite bus route at the time was the 428, which was a bus route that took us directly up to Bluewater from where our house was, and we would always go down to Pizza Hut, no matter how much money my parents had in their pockets.

Fast forward to now, and my obsession for buses, and now trains, has bascially overpowered my computer obsession. In early 2026, I had built up enough courage to start attending bus related events, like the South East Bus Festival, and the SL12 First Day. It was through here where I made friends in the bus spotting community, like matthewcatsey, DenzelsWorld, DISCOPlayz, SELT, ZF Enthusiast, and KristinaMoment to name a few.

It was also around about this time that I met Chris McMurtry, co-founder of ONCE.app; since that point onwards, I have been working with him and his team to help them bug find, answer questions, and overall just have a great time doing what we love, which is building things to help musicians get played, paid, and registered!
